The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) concluded its sponsorship of Youth City 2030, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs. This collaboration reflects TRA’s continued commitment to empowering Bahrain’s youth with essential skills in creativity, media, and technology.

As part of this year’s sponsorship, TRA supported a number of specialized training programs aimed at enhancing the digital and creative capabilities of young Bahrainis. These initiatives provided participants with valuable opportunities to gain practical knowledge, showcase their creativity, and deliver impactful content that contributed to their personal and professional growth.

Through these initiatives, TRA reaffirmed its role as a consistent supporter of Youth City and a partner in national youth development. The programs provided youth from across Bahrain with practical knowledge, sharpened their creativity, and delivered impactful content that not only supported TRA’s awareness efforts but also contributed to their personal and professional growth.

Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Philip Marnick, General Director of the TRA, said:
“Empowering people to full participate in the digital economy is a key priority for TRA. By sponsoring these courses at Youth City 2030, we are proud to provide young Bahrainis with opportunities to develop their creativity, digital skills, and enhance their confidence. These talented young people are the future of our digital society, and we are committed to supporting them as they build the future.”

Adding to this, Ms. Taiba AlBinali, Manager of Communications at TRA, stated:
“Our participation in Youth City 2030 goes beyond sponsorship. It is about giving young people the platform to showcase their creativity and translate learning into real-world impact. The outcomes from these courses demonstrate the incredible potential of Bahrain’s youth, and we are proud to have played a role in their journey.”

Youth City 2030 remains one of Bahrain’s most prominent youth development platforms, offering diverse programs that foster innovation, leadership, and practical skills. TRA’s continued involvement highlights its role as a national enabler of digital transformation and youth empowerment.
